Why dogs drink out of the toilet.

To a dog, the toilet water comes in a cool, clean porcelain bowl with water trickling like a mountain stream and the water is always “freshened”. If given a choice of a water at room temperature or water that is cool, wouldn’t you choose the cool water?

It is not recommended to let your dog drink from the toilet. The only real solution is to keep the lid closed.

Why do dogs love tummy rubs so much?

When you rub a dogs tummy, it redirects the blood to the area and helps to relax the tension in the abdomen. It’s also a sign of trust from a dog as the “belly up” position leaves a dog vulnerable.

Dogs also love to have their ears rubbed. When you rub your dogs ears, it is like you hit on acupressure points.

Both tummy rubs and ear rubs send your dog into a relaxed state and happy bliss.

Why do dogs listen to men better than women?

Men usually have lower-pitched voices than women. To dogs, a lower pitch means business; the higher pitch voices sound more like whining to a dog.

Women need to drop their voices and use body postures to get the same attention from a dog.
